CEDAR RAPIDS --- The Cedar Falls girls came up short in a Mississippi Valley Conference showdown with Cedar Rapids Washington Tuesday, 54-42.

Alissa Oney nailed three shots from beyond the arc to lead the Warriors (9-5, 8-3) with 17 points.

Laura Johnson led the Tigers with 16 points, while Courtney Dryer dropped in four 3-pointers.

Cedar Falls (4-9, 3-7) dropped in seven baskets from long range.
